Dreamville Festival is a young, annual music festival led by rapper, J. Cole. In its second year it has come to be a one of a kind celebration of local culture, food, and art. It aims to bring both artists and fans together in a family-like atmosphere featuring a variety of unique performances. In the coming years, Dreamville Festival aspires to leave positive economic and cultural impacts on the city of Raleigh as well as to be one of the most anticipated annual events in the city.
Through my design for Dreamville Fest, I plan to capture the authenticity and passion that exudes from the label’s artists. I want to emulate the warm feeling of family that both the artists and fans can attest to. My viewers should feel at peace as I convey the aspects of nature that they should look forward to experiencing at the festival.
